The tour announcement comes as a celebration of the band’s storied career, which spans over five decades. Known for their gritty Texas blues sound, humor-infused lyrics, and unmistakable bearded style, ZZ Top continues to captivate audiences worldwide. The upcoming tour is expected to feature a mix of their greatest hits, including classics like “La Grange,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Gimme All Your Lovin’,” alongside newer material.

The tour will mark the band’s first major outing since their 2023 shows, which honored the memory of bassist Dusty Hill, who passed away in 2021. Hill’s spirit remains an integral part of the band, with longtime guitar tech Elwood Francis stepping into the bassist role and earning high praise from fans and critics alike.

In a statement, guitarist and vocalist Billy Gibbons expressed his excitement for the tour. “We’ve always said the road is our home, and we’re ready to hit it hard once again. There’s nothing like connecting with fans and sharing this music that means so much to all of us.”

The “Blues-Rock Celebration Tour” kicks off on March 15, 2025, in Austin, Texas, and will visit over 40 cities, including Chicago, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Toronto, before concluding in late summer. Tickets are set to go on sale starting January 20, 2025, with VIP packages available for die-hard fans.

ZZ Top’s ability to maintain their relevance while staying true to their roots is a testament to their enduring appeal. This tour promises to be a must-see event for rock enthusiasts and longtime fans alike.
