Sum 41 Announces Final Tour And Album Release…

Sum 41 has officially announced their farewell world tour, Tour of the Setting Sum, marking the end of their nearly three-decade-long career. This tour coincides with the release of their final album, Heaven :x: Hell, and will take the band across multiple continents, including North America, Europe, and Asia.

The tour kicks off on March 1, 2024, in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will include major stops in Japan, Mexico, the United States, Germany, France, and the UK, among others. One of the most anticipated performances will be their largest show ever at Paris La Défense Arena, where they will play to a sold-out crowd of over 35,000 fans. Their final concert as a band is scheduled for January 30, 2025, at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

A Look at Heaven :x: Hell

The band’s last album, Heaven :x: Hell, is set to be a double album that reflects Sum 41’s musical evolution. The Heaven side is said to be influenced by their pop-punk roots, while Hell embraces their heavier, metal-inspired sound. This duality represents the band’s journey from their early 2000s skate-punk anthems to their more mature, aggressive style in later years.

Sum 41’s Legacy

Since forming in 1996, Sum 41 has been a defining act in pop-punk and alternative rock, with hits like “Fat Lip,” “In Too Deep,” and “Still Waiting.” Their blend of punk energy and metal-infused riffs set them apart in the early 2000s scene. Over the years, they gained a massive global fanbase, earned Grammy nominations, and left a lasting impact on the genre.

Where to Get Tickets

Tickets for the U.S. tour dates will go on sale starting January 19, 2024, at 10 AM local time. Fans are advised to purchase early, as many venues are expected to sell out quickly.

This farewell tour marks the end of an era for Sum 41, but their music and influence will live on. Fans worldwide will have one last chance to see them perform before they officially disband.
