As Crystal Palace gears up for what promises to be an impressive recruitment drive this summer, it appears that two players may be heading out on loan.
The summer transfer activity has kicked off with enthusiasm at Crystal Palace, under the guidance of Dougie Freedman, the club’s sporting director.
Chadi Riad is on the brink of becoming the first signing of Oliver Glasner’s tenure, having successfully completed his medical examination. Meanwhile, reports indicate that Daichi Kamada is inching closer to joining Selhurst Park.
Following these impending signings, attention is turning towards Jobe Bellingham, identified as a priority target for the Eagles, with Freedman actively pursuing the 18-year-old’s signature.
Both Kamada and Bellingham are versatile players capable of operating in central midfield and the number 10 role, potentially crowding the position where David Ozoh and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi currently find themselves in the squad under Glasner’s management.
With limited playing time under Glasner, particularly due to injury setbacks for Rak-Sakyi, Palace is reportedly considering the future of Ozoh and Rak-Sakyi. According to the South London Press, a decision regarding their potential loan moves is expected in mid-July, with Millwall showing interest in both players.
Given the influx of new signings and the resulting competition for places, it would make sense for Ozoh and Rak-Sakyi to seek loan opportunities. This move would afford them valuable playing time and experience, potentially accelerating their development while also freeing up squad space at Selhurst Park.
