LA Galaxy forward Gabriel Pec and FC Dallas forward Petar Musa have been selected to join the 2024 MLS All-Star Team roster, as announced by MLS on Sunday. Head coach Wilfried Nancy made the additions ahead of the upcoming 2024 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, scheduled for July 24 at Lower.com Field in Columbus (8 pm ET | MLS Season Pass).
Gabriel Pec, who joined LA Galaxy in a club-record deal from Vasco da Gama last winter, has been in exceptional form with 10 goals and 10 assists in 25 matches. His contributions have played a significant role in LA Galaxy’s position atop the Western Conference with 49 points. Pec will join teammate Riqui Puig in representing LA Galaxy at the All-Star Game.
Petar Musa, the leading scorer for FC Dallas this season, has netted 13 goals in 23 appearances. The Croatian striker, who arrived from Benfica in a club-record transfer, has been particularly prolific with eight goals since June 19, marking the highest tally in MLS during that period. Musa’s outstanding performances earned him recognition as Player of the Matchday after Matchday 21.
Both Pec and Musa’s selections highlight their impact and standout performances in the MLS this season, earning them a spot among the league’s top players for the All-Star Game.
