According to the Express & Star, both Hibernian and Huddersfield Town are interested in signing Wolves midfielder Joe Hodge on loan.
Hodge progressed through the youth system at Manchester City before moving to Wolves in 2021, where he has been recognized as a promising player.
He has played 13 senior matches for Wolves, but may find it challenging to increase that number next season, leading to the possibility of a loan move.
Scottish team Hibernian is interested in signing him on loan, and he is currently training with them at Easter Road.
However, League One club Huddersfield is also eager to acquire Hodge and is in discussions with Wolves about the possibility.
Hibs and Huddersfield are currently competing to secure Hodge on a loan deal for this summer.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 player spent the latter half of last season on loan at Championship team Queens Park Rangers, where he scored one goal in eight league appearances.
It remains to be seen which team Hodge and Wolves will select to facilitate the player’s development through first-team football next season.
