The Spanish team Girona has reached an agreement to acquire Aberdeen forward Bojan Miovski for £6.8 million. The two clubs are near completing the paperwork and finalizing the transfer details, and there are no anticipated issues with the personal terms.
Miovski is thought to be enthusiastic about the transfer to Girona, especially since the team is competing in the Champions League this season.
The 25-year-old North Macedonia international came on as a late substitute in their 3-1 victory over St Mirren on Sunday, and then took an emotional lap of honor around Pittodrie.
Miovski, who joined Aberdeen in 2022 from MTK Budapest for around £600,000, is now set to secure the club a record transfer fee. This deal would exceed the £6.5 million Aberdeen received when they sold right-back Calvin Ramsay to Liverpool in June 2022. During his time at Aberdeen, Miovski has scored 44 goals in 97 appearances.
