Amidst Southampton competition, Hull City makes the strongest offer for a Crystal Palace winger.

Hull City are eager to secure the forward on a loan deal before the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Southampton are aiming to secure his services permanently as they prepare themselves for Premier League action under Russell Martin.

Rak-Sakyi, aged 21, is currently in a state of uncertainty at Crystal Palace, prompting the club to face a significant decision about his future this summer. He recently scored in a pre-season friendly against his former club Charlton Athletic.

According to the latest update from journalist Nixon on his Patreon, Hull City has made the highest offer for the player at present. Yet, it remains uncertain whether he will join Tim Walter’s team at this point, given competition from other clubs.

Hull City view Rak-Sakyi as a potential addition to bolster their attacking options.

The Tigers are urgently seeking reinforcements as they gear up for their inaugural full season under the leadership of new manager Tim Walter.

Several attacking players have departed recently, with Jaden Philogene being the latest to leave for Aston Villa.

Rak-Sakyi could expect significant playing time at the MKM Stadium, providing him with a platform to showcase his abilities in the Championship.

However, Southampton’s interest could complicate matters as Crystal Palace consider their next steps regarding him.

Regarding Rak-Sakyi’s contract, he is tied to Selhurst Park until 2027, meaning Crystal Palace are not under immediate pressure to sell him.

He started his career in Chelsea’s academy before joining his current club in 2019. Since then, he has progressed through the youth system and has accumulated 12 appearances in total, with eight of them coming in the last season.

During the 2022/23 season, he also spent time at Charlton Athletic where he made a significant impact in League One, scoring 15 goals in 49 matches. He returned to Crystal Palace after his successful loan spell with the Addicks.
