Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe is reportedly seeking a move away from the club this summer due to limited opportunities last season.
According to talkSPORT, Crystal Palace are interested in signing the 23-year-old attacking midfielder and are preparing a £30 million offer for him. Arsenal, however, value him between £35-40 million and are open to his departure if a suitable offer is made.
In addition to Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Napoli have also shown interest in Smith Rowe. Palace, in particular, are in need of a quality attacking midfielder, especially with potential departures of players like Eberechi Eze and recent signing Michael Olise to Bayern Munich.
Smith Rowe was highly regarded as one of England’s top young midfield prospects and will be aiming to rediscover his form with regular playing time at his next club.
Smith Rowe could potentially be a smart long-term investment for Crystal Palace, particularly given their recent financial boost from selling Michael Olise to Bayern Munich for £60 million. With these funds, Palace could have the resources to secure Smith Rowe’s transfer.
The 23-year-old Arsenal midfielder is keen to rejuvenate his career and is seeking a move to a club capable of competing at a high level. Crystal Palace, under the management of Oliver Glasner and with their talented squad, present an appealing option for him.
Alternatively, Aston Villa could also be an enticing destination. Smith Rowe has previous experience under Unai Emery at Arsenal, which could make a reunion with the Spanish manager appealing to him.
