European Tour Expansion in 2025

 

Following the overwhelming success of his 2024 world tour, Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced additional European dates for 2025. Fans in Germany can look forward to performances in Berlin on June 11 at the Olympiastadion, Frankfurt on June 18 at Deutsche Bank Park, and Gelsenkirchen on June 27 at Veltins Arena. Tickets for these concerts became available on October 9, 2024.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the iconic album “Born to Run,” the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music at Monmouth University is organizing an academic conference. Scheduled for September 7, 2025, the conference invites scholars to explore Springsteen’s life, work, and influence. This event is part of a series of celebrations commemorating the album’s enduring impact.

 

“Deliver Me from Nowhere”: A Cinematic Tribute to “Nebraska”

 

The forthcoming biopic “Deliver Me from Nowhere” delves into the creation of Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska.” Directed by Scott Cooper, the film features Jeremy Allen White portraying Springsteen. Springsteen has expressed enthusiasm for the project, particularly praising White’s dedication to capturing his essence. The film also stars Marc Maron as producer Chuck Plotkin and Gabby Hoffmann as Springsteen’s mother, Adele. Currently filming in New Jersey and New York, the movie is slated for release in 2025.

 

Musical Homage: “State Trooper” Cover

 

In a nod to Springsteen’s influence, artists WILDES and St Francis Hotel have released a cover of his 1982 track “State Trooper.” This rendition pays homage to the enduring legacy of Springsteen’s music and its impact on contemporary artists.
