It’s a doubled joy for us.” Michal added, “After seeing my sister win, I was more relaxed and focused on my own race. We train together and support each other, so this is a special moment for us.”
In the women’s 800m, Czechia’s Adéla Holubová clinched gold in a championship best time of 2:04.23, overcoming early leader Shaikiri King of Great Britain, who finished just behind for silver. The men’s 800m saw a strategic race unfold, with Great Britain’s Matthew McKenna ultimately securing gold in 1:52.91 after a determined effort in the final stretch.
