Graeme Shinnie informs Aberdeen FC supporters that if Bojan Miovski leaves via transfer, there will be solutions.

Graeme Shinnie thinks Ester Sokler is prepared to step into Bojan Miovski’s shoes should the Dons accept a high-ball offer, but he still hopes the striker stays at Aberdeen.

The North Macedonian striker, who has 44 goals in two seasons, is the focus of Bologna. Additionally, teams in Germany, Italy, and England are keeping an eye on the £6 million hitman’s circumstances. After speaking with Miovski, 25, who is scheduled to report for training at Cormack Park this morning, new manager Jimmy Thelin acknowledged leaving the 25-year-old out of his first matchday squad against Queen of the South on Saturday. However, Sokler was used at Palmerston and answered with a lethal double in the first half.

Captain Shinnie hopes Miovski remains at Pittodrie after August, stating, “Certainly. Bojan played a crucial role for us last season. However, in football, players move on, and I’ve experienced that enough. It was significant that Ester scored, showing he’s prepared if Bojan leaves. It’s crucial for the squad that everyone is ready.”

Sokler scored four goals in 40 appearances last season at Pittodrie, mostly coming off the bench, after joining from Radomlje in his home country. Two of these goals came in the final four weeks, including a crucial late equalizer against Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final. Shinnie commented, “Last season was challenging for Ester with Bojan performing so well. This upcoming season will be important for him.”
