Following the immense success of his “Overdose D’Amore World Tour,” which spanned three continents in 2024, Zucchero is set to bring his electrifying presence back to Italian stadiums in 2025. Notably, he will perform two solo concerts at Rome’s historic Circus Maximus on June 23 and 24, marking his debut at this iconic venue.
The 2025 leg of the “Overdose D’Amore World Tour” will also see Zucchero returning to North America, with performances scheduled in major cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, and Las Vegas in October. Tickets for these highly anticipated shows went on sale on December 13, 2024.
In addition to his touring endeavors, Zucchero released “Discover II,” his second album of cover songs, on November 8, 2024. This album showcases his unique interpretations of various classics, including a heartfelt rendition of Pearl Jam’s “Just Breathe.” The lead single, “Amor che muovi il Sole,” is a reimagined version of The Killers’ “My Own Soul’s Warning,” with Italian lyrics inspired by the concluding line of Dante’s “Divine Comedy.” The accompanying music video, directed by Marc Lucas, portrays a journey of conveying love and hope, culminating in a message illuminated by the sun, symbolizing joy and optimism.
Zucchero’s influence extends beyond his music; he has been actively involved in various global initiatives. In 2020, he participated in “One World: Together at Home,” a global event organized to combat COVID-19. His continuous efforts to innovate and connect with audiences worldwide underscore his status as a pivotal figure in the music industry.
