Les Ultras Brestois font un don de 4 500 € aux P’tits Doudous, couvrant quatre années de budget jouets réconfortants…

In a heartwarming act of generosity, the Ultras Brestois supporters group has donated €4,500 to the charitable organization Les P’tits Doudous, an initiative that helps ease the anxiety of children undergoing surgery by gifting them soft comfort toys, or “doudous.” This generous donation equates to an impressive four years’ worth of doudou budgets for the local branch of the organization.

The Ultras Brestois, known for their passionate support of Stade Brestois 29, decided to channel their energy into a cause beyond the football stadium. By rallying their members and organizing fundraising activities, they managed to raise a significant sum that will directly benefit children receiving care at the Brest University Hospital.

Les P’tits Doudous, founded in 2011, aims to reduce stress for young patients by offering them plush toys before operations and introducing playful elements into the hospital environment. The initiative has been praised nationwide for its role in humanizing hospital stays and promoting child well-being.

Representatives from Les P’tits Doudous expressed deep gratitude for the donation. “This donation is immense for us,” one volunteer said. “It means four full years of comfort and smiles for the children. It’s not just financial help – it’s emotional support.”

The Ultras Brestois handed over the symbolic cheque during a special event, where both hospital staff and supporters shared in the joy of the moment. Their act highlights the power of community-driven support and the potential for sports fan groups to make meaningful contributions to society.

This gesture serves as a reminder that the love for a club can go hand in hand with love for the community. With this donation, the Ultras Brestois have proven that their loyalty and passion extend far beyond the pitch.
