Bromley of the EFL are reportedly nearing a deal to acquire Crystal Palace defensive prospect Danny Imray, as per the South London Press.
Having secured promotion from the National League via playoffs last season, Bromley is gearing up for their upcoming campaign in League Two. The club is keen on bolstering their squad and views Crystal Palace defender Danny Imray as a suitable addition to achieve their goals.
Bromley have been actively pursuing a loan deal for 20-year-old Danny Imray from Crystal Palace for the upcoming season. Reports suggest that they are edging closer to finalizing the agreement, with the EFL newcomers eager to secure Imray’s services in the near future.
Danny Imray showcased his abilities in the Premier League 2 for Crystal Palace last season, contributing eight assists in 18 appearances. Bromley is banking on the young talent to replicate his effectiveness on the right flank as they prepare for their League Two campaign next season.
Imray gained experience against senior teams last season as well, featuring for Crystal Palace’s Under-21s in the EFL Trophy. This competition included matches against Wycombe Wanderers, AFC Wimbledon, and Stevenage, providing Imray with valuable exposure to senior level football.
