This summer, Aston Villa might pique interest once more in “one of the best strikers in the world.”

A recent report suggests that Aston Villa may rekindle their interest in "one of the best strikers in the world" during the summer transfer window.

Last season, Unai Emery’s team placed fourth in the Premier League, earning a spot in the prestigious Champions League.

Because of this, The Villans may have a larger transfer budget to spend in the window, and Emery will be keen to add players to his team.

Having said that, they might come back to the table in search of a highly regarded striker.

Aston Villa might show interest in Tammy Abraham, a striker for Roma, once more.

Abraham suffered a catastrophic knee injury last year, which caused the Villans-Arabs agreement to fall through.

After spending more than a year on loan, the 26-year-old may now return to Villa Park, according to the report.

Abraham, who is regarded as “one of the best strikers in the world,” is reportedly expected to fetch a fee of about £21 million. The Serie A team is reportedly in need of raising money by the end of the month.

Aston Villa has rivals.
Villa won’t have a free reign at Abraham since other Premier League teams are interested.

The recently promoted Leicester City and the European-aspiring Bournemouth have both been mentioned as possible destinations.

Abraham would probably prefer a return to the West Midlands given his connection with the team and the prospect of playing Champions League games.
