Suspect in Liam Payne’s Death Denies Supplying Drugs Before Tragic Fall
A 24-year-old suspect linked to the death of Liam Payne has recently spoken out, providing new insights into his interactions with the former One Direction star. The suspect, identified as Braian Nahuel Paiz, works as a waiter and gave an exclusive interview to an Argentine news station regarding his involvement in the tragic events leading up to Payne’s passing. According to Paiz, he met the singer during his work at a restaurant in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, where the two exchanged contact details and later saw each other on two separate occasions. However, Paiz maintains that he never supplied Payne with drugs, despite admitting that they did partake in drugs together during their meetings.
Liam Payne died on October 16, 2024, after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel. The 31-year-old suffered fatal injuries, and an autopsy revealed that he had alcohol, cocaine, and prescription antidepressants in his system at the time of his death. These findings, which also included traces of “pink cocaine,” have raised many questions about the circumstances surrounding his final moments. In the wake of Payne’s death, three individuals were arrested, with Paiz being one of them, though he denies any wrongdoing.
The other two suspects involved in the case remain unnamed by the authorities, and Paiz has stated that he doesn’t know them personally. Despite his claims, the Argentine authorities have charged the three with a series of offenses, including “abandonment of a person followed by death” and “supply and facilitation of narcotics.” These charges are part of a broader investigation into the events leading up to Payne’s untimely death.
Roger Nores, one of Liam’s close friends, has also been questioned in relation to the singer’s death. Nores was reportedly with Payne just before he fell from the balcony, but he has denied any involvement in the incident. Speaking to the press, Nores shared that he visited Payne at the hotel three times on the day of the tragedy and left around 40 minutes before the fatal fall occurred. He described the scene at the hotel as calm, with over 15 people socializing with Payne before he left. Nores has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of his friend and has provided his statement to the authorities as a witness.
The investigation into Liam Payne’s death is still ongoing, with authorities working to piece together the events leading to that fateful night. While the circumstances surrounding his passing remain unclear, Paiz’s interview adds a layer of complexity to the case, as it continues to raise questions about the role of drugs in the singer’s final days. As more details unfold, fans and the public alike await further updates on the case.
