Exciting news for two rising stars from the Philadelphia Union!
Jack McGlynn and Nate Harriel have earned their spots on the U.S. Men’s Olympic Soccer Team heading to Paris in 2024. Both players, who honed their skills through the Union’s training program, expressed immense pride in representing their country on such a prestigious stage.
“For me, it’s a huge honor to represent the U.S. at the Olympics,” Harriel shared. “It’s a dream come true, both for me personally and for our club.”
McGlynn echoed the sentiment, highlighting the significance of competing at the Olympics. “It’s an incredible honor. The Olympics are the pinnacle of sports competition,” he said. “To be part of this special group and wear the U.S. jersey is something I’ve always dreamed of.”
Their selection marks a historic moment for the Philadelphia Union, as McGlynn and Harriel become the first players from the club to participate in the Olympics.
